Wanapum Dam is located on the Columbia river near Vantage Washington.
The dam and powerhouse were completed in 1963.
Wanapum Dam has 10 main electrical power generating units.
Each Generator is rated at approximately 100 MegaWatts,
and will pass 18,000 cubic feet per second of water at full load.
Turbine replacement began in about 2005, and generator replacement began in 2010.
